Flood Relief – Cyclone Jasper, Far North Queensland
On Wednesday 13 December, Cyclone Jasper made landfall just north of Port Douglas in Far North Queensland (FNQ). In the days following, heavy rainfall inundated several communities with up to a year’s worth of rain, some up to two metres.
Samaritan’s Purse Australian Disaster Relief team members are currently monitoring the aftermath of the record rainfall bought by Jasper and are preparing to respond. We aim to equip the local church to bring hope and relief to those impacted by this disaster.
Your support to FNQ provides the opportunity to support those who have been affected by the floods.
