Drill a Village Well
$10,000.00
In remote villages, a community well may be the only source of clean water for many miles. Families rely on it for drinking, watering their animals, cooking, and bathing. When a well runs dry or falls into disrepair, residents must turn to lakes, streams, or ponds risking waterborne illnesses. For about $10,000, Samaritan’s Purse can drill a freshwater well in countries like South Sudan or Niger that will provide for up to 500 people. That’s just $20 per person!
