Miriam and Cesar were so thankful when Samaritan’s Purse gifted their family with a brood of fuzzy chicks. Our team helped them set up a chicken coop and trained them to raise their chickens. Now, instead of travelling long distances for work, Miriam can stay home with their two children, who delight in helping take care of the chicks. With the income they make from selling nutrient-rich eggs, the couple hopes to eventually buy land to build their own house. Just $10 can supply families in countries like Cambodia, and the Philippines with a dozen chicks, a coop and basic veterinary care in Jesus’ Name.
