Phally struggled to provide for her seven children. Two of her daughters had to quit school to go to work, and the family’s dreams of a better life were fading away. But things changed when Samaritan’s Purse started a chicken raising project in their village. Phally received chicks, coop materials, feed, medicine and an incubator. We also taught her how to sell the nutrient-rich eggs so that she has income for food, healthcare and her children’s education.
As we teach families how to care for their chicks, we share Jesus’ love for them. Your gift of $10 will provide an impoverished family with a dozen chicks, a coop and basic veterinary care so that they will have eggs to eat or sell for years to come.
