Empower Vulnerable Women
In Cambodia, single mothers dream of being able to feed their family while keeping their children in school. For Dary, this dream unfortunately led to her to Malaysia where was exploited. She eventually fled and was later arrested in Thailand. Samaritan’s Purse staff received her at a border transit centre where she was
given shelter, food and trauma counselling.
Tragically, 7 out of every 10 trafficked people are women. $100 provides a crucial safety net for vulnerable women like Dary in Southeast Asia and Africa in the form of physical assistance and educational workshops to warn them of the dangers of deceptive practices and exploitation.
